DRAFT ELIGIBLE CLIENT
MIKE MARTINEZ
OT/C
NEW MEXICO STATE
Mike (in white)
keeps a DE away from his QB.
Mike is a big (6040/327) offensive lineman who has
started 48 consecutive games at New Mexico State,
starting out at Center and moving to OT in 2006. In
addition, Mike also is a solid longsnapper.
Over the
course of his 48 consecutive starts, Mike
allowed just 7
QB sacks in 2,115 pass attempts!
While his weight had been as high as 350 (2006), he
played the entire 2007 season under 325, which
helped him regain quickness in his pass sets, get off
the ball with more explosion, and get to LBs much
quicker.
Over his career, (and for film viewing purposes)
Mike has excelled against current and projected NFL
players including...
Quenton Groves, Auburn (2007) - Held
Groves to 0 tackles, 2 assists, 0 sacks.
Alama Francis, Hawaii (2006) - Held
Francis to 0 tackles, 2 assists, 0 sacks.
Jeb Huckeba, Arkansas (2004)
Lorenzo Alexander, Cal (2004)
DeMarcus Ware, Troy State (2004) --
Ware was coming off 6 and 7 sack games and Mike
literally shut him down, limiting him to 1 tackle and 0
sacks.
